Amaala Hotel sits within AMAALA — an ultra-luxury wellness and eco-tourism destination on Saudi Arabia's north-western Red Sea coast, set inside the Prince Mohammed bin Salman Royal Reserve and designed to run on renewable energy. Across serene lagoon pools, palm-lined boardwalks and an open-air beach club, DSCC delivered the indoor and outdoor furnishing and fit-out — turning a striking architectural shell into a fully styled, guest-ready resort that lives up to AMAALA's world-class standard.
Approach
Our work centred on the guest journey — from arrival lounges and all-day dining areas to the lagoon pools, shaded cabanas and the Adrena beach club. We selected weather-resilient outdoor furniture, natural rattan and timber finishes, and a calm coastal material palette that lets the sea and sky lead, while standing up to sun, salt and heavy daily use.
Approach 2
Befitting a wellness destination, material and finish choices favour natural, low-impact textures aligned with AMAALA's sustainability ethos. Indoor lounges and restaurants extend the same language inward: layered seating, woven pendant lighting and sea-view settings that read as one continuous experience with the terraces outside. From dusk lighting around the pools to the styling of seating clusters and the resort's evening identity, every detail was coordinated to a single, cohesive design vision.
